Rhoda Smith
Practice Manager and Fully Accredited Counsellor, Rhoda (She/Her) has over 10 years of experience working with clients presenting with a diverse range of difficulties.
Rhoda has qualifications working with many mental health disorders including Depression, Anxiety, O.C.D., Stress, Grief and Loss, Trauma and Panic Attacks/Disorder. Rhoda is qualified as a Mindfulness therapist, a C.B.T. practitioner and a Mental Health Trainer.
Rhoda provides a friendly and welcoming support and works in a collaborative and empathic way with her clients to make them feel safe, comfortable and understood. While also providing a professional and effective therapy to assist clients to recovery.
Rhoda is available for daytime and evening appointments and is ready to help and support.
Ruth Duffy
Ruth (she/her) has a deep belief in talking therapy as a gift we can give to ourselves, at many times, through the journey of life. She works with adults and her aim as a therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space to enable you to be curious, explore, and develop awareness that can lead to personal growth.
She draws on various approaches and works alongside people who experience a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, bereavement, abuse, bullying, low self-esteem and she is qualified in Perinatal Mental Health.
With a background in applied healthcare, she has worked for over 20 years and trained as a counsellor because of the belief that having good mental health is the key to a being able to have a fulfilled and meaningful life.
Ruth is available for daytime appointments.
Neil O’Connor
Neil (he/him) believes in the power of counselling to help clients to understand themselves better and to heal. He has experience working with a wide range of issues including anger, abuse, trauma, relationship issues, sex and sexuality, intimacy, gender issues, anxiety, self esteem and many more.
Neil is led by his client in an empathic way, often working with the inner child to facilitate healing and change.
Neil’s background in Children’s Nursing and suicide prevention add to his compassionate and non- judgmental approach to all clients.
Neil works in person with adults and is available for daytime and evening appointments.
Barbara Flanagan
Barbara (she/her) offers a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard and understood. Working from a humanistic and client-centered foundation, she integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques to tailor our work to your individual needs.
With experience supporting clients through depression, anxiety, stress-related issues, suicidal thoughts, bereavement and loss, addiction, trauma, LGBTQ+ concerns, and a wide range of mental health challenges, Barbara works collaboratively with you to explore what’s going on and help you gain deeper insight into yourself.
Her approach is empathetic and client-led, focused on building a trusting relationship that allows you to feel safe as you navigate your journey. Whether you're facing current difficulties or exploring longer-standing patterns, Barbara is here to support you in finding clarity and emotional resilience.
Appointments are available mornings, afternoons, and evenings to suit your schedule.
